The Ashe County Little Theatre Announces 2018 Season

The Ashe County Little Theatre (ACLT) is an all-volunteer community based theatre group who make their home in the Ashe Civic Center in West Jefferson. Since 1972, ACLT has produced three to four plays a year.  In 2018, the group will present four productions.  They’re many ways for the community to become involved.

Bus Stop, April 6-8

Bus Stop is about the passengers on a bus traveling from Kansas City, Missouri to Wyoming who get “Shanghai-ed” in the diner of of a small town in Kansas while waiting out a blizzard that has blocked the highway west. Forced to overnight in the diner, the bus driver and his passengers get to know the owner of the diner, her young waitress and the county sheriff. With tender comedy and serious interpersonal relationships, Bus Stop is funny, serious and heart warming all at the same time.
